Shanghai, China: New residential photovoltaic capacity exceeds 100,000 kilowatts from 2023 to 2025

On November 29, Shanghai issued "Several Opinions on Promoting the High-Quality Development of Photovoltaics in New Residential Buildings." It is stated that the main goal is to connect with Shanghai's "double carbon" strategic goals and energy planning. From 2023 to 2025, the city's new residential buildings will have a photovoltaic scale of more than 100,000 kilowatts; from 2026 to 2035, promote photovoltaic thin films, photovoltaic curtain walls and other photovoltaic projects. Building integration demonstration and large-scale, market-oriented application, the city's new residential buildings have a photovoltaic scale of more than 500,000 kilowatts.
